After we have taken stock of the event that took place in Abuja on the 14th day of November, 2020 as it concerns the Federal Polytechnic Ede Alumni Association, i.e the formal inauguration of our Abuja Branch and the subsequent inauguration of the EXCO of the Branch, the NEC under the able leadership of our Preesident, Alh. Shittu Bashir, once again congratulates all of us and the Abuja Branch in particular for this feat.
In the same vein, we want to charge the Branch Executives that this is just the beginning of the call to service. The ultimate goal is to take our Alma Mata to an enviable height of qualitative relevance in the scheme of things in Nigeria and the world at large. Some of the objectives to be achieved to get to this goal include mobilization of our members from all walks of life, rendering assistance to our colleagues (either as individuals or as a group), contributing to the growth of the school in various forms (physical, financial, intellectual, etc), projecting the name of the school in good light and so on.
The National Executive Council can not do it alone as we reckon that you, our members worldwide remain the blood that flows in us to move on. It is therefore our prayer and desire that the new chapter and of course other branches/chapters (already inaugurated or yet to be inaugurated) that you excel in all ramifications. The national officers noted that as the branch has taken up the gauntlet in achieving our ultimate goal with us, please do not be weary. The NEC now promises to always provide the desired backing and guidance whenever and wherever such is needed.
The NEC use this medium to challenge other branches/ chapters (already inaugurated or yet to be inaugurated) that the head cannot function in isolation, and therefore charge all branches to mobilize members in their domain, join hands with the NEC to move all members of Federal Polytechnic, Ede Alumni Association to the next level and let our alma Mater be a huge beneficiary of our cooperation. IT IS TIME TO GET WORKING.
