The ever proactive FPE Alumni Association embarked upon the renovation of the moribund alumni 8-rooms toilet that was built by the first executive of Alumni Association over a decade ago.  The building, which is strategically located beside the newly Polytechnic library cannot but be considered to be a project of great importance, bearing in mind the essence of living in a hygienic environment; hence it became necessary to renovate the dilapidated toilet facility.

As one of the core values of the current Alumni Executive, the wellbeing of every inhabitant of the Federal Polytechnic Ede community is of great concern.

However, in a bid to encourage and guarantee a hygienic environment in the campus of Federal Polytechnic Ede, prompt attention was given to not just renovation but also modernization of the outdated facility with enormous works from done with the installation of electricity, doors, tiles and sewage facilities like water closet, washing Hand basin as well as painting of the building and connecting the toilet to the main polytechnic reservoir to ensure constant water supply.

This effort by ever-supportive Alumni Association put a rest to the constant cry for a lavatory that will serve both the students and visitors to the Federal Polytechnic, Ede community.

The executive under the supervision of Mr. Shittu B. Olaleye met with basic needs of the students by ensuring that every student has easy access to good and functional toilet facilities finally.
